Day 104 Monday, February 1, 2016

Bayside Marina, Islamorada, FL
We woke up to a gentle rain. At least the wind was not blowing at gale force. I had figured on doing some of my ‘first of the month maintenance’ on a rainy day: changing the A/C and water filters, cleaning a bit more in the bilge and neatening up anything else that can be done.
About noon the rain subsided so we ventured outside the cabin to take in some fresh air. Since a low level of ‘sea cabin fever’ had fallen upon us, we drove up to the Islamorada Visitors center and got more information about the Dry Tortugas and the Keys in general. The weather had become so much nicer by 5PM, we launched the dingy and took a sunset dinghy ride around the basin to explore a ‘beached’ boat that has been in the middle of a SHALLOW channel for the four weeks we have been here! It looks like it would be easy to remove.

Today’s picture is sunken boat
