We didn't post yesterday as it was a long day riding and getting tied up in the Alligator River Marina. After we ate I crashed at about 7:30. We enjoyed the ride from Elizabeth City to the Alligator River across the Albemarle Sound. It was a lot of open water with no particular beautiful shots.
Today we ran about 50miles down the Pungo Canal. This was very nice but we didn't see much wildlife. Not many birds, fish snakes. Pretty quiet the entire trip. I id get a few nice shots in the canal and the Dowry Marina. Two boats we met the first time at the Dismal Swamp Center are here at this marina. Since we are all traveling the same speeds we end ip together.
So, now I'll post a few pictures. I have a gallery but can't get it to show up on the blog. Maybe tech support tomorrow.
This picture I'm posting is the last one I took today of the moon coming up over Dowry Creek Marina.

Not too much to say about today as we stayed in the slip at Elizabeth City. We had a wonderful breakfast that Susan cooked. Ran the generator to replenish the batteries since the engine is not running to do the job. We did a few chores, walked to the Ace hardware, CVS and fish market. Getting ready to cook a whole rockfish in a few minutes . Tomorrow we are headed across the Albermarle Sound which can be rough. Forecast is good. We will probably stay at Alligator River Marina tomorrow night as the winds are predicted to kick up Thursday. All is well.
I have posted pictures on the gallery of yesterday's trip. Check those out.

Your boat looks so beautiful. I'm sad I didn't get to see it.

If you come across Matt Lauer. Turn around you have gone too far. Where in the World is the Smiths. This seams like a great adventure.
