DAY 21 OF OUR GREAT ADVENTURE

After saying goodbye to my Brother, Eddie, on Sunday night we got underway at 8:30 for Butler Island to anchor for the night. Georgetown was where we intended to go. However, we had unfavorable tidal currents slowing our progress and a fuel stop at Osprey Marina. So we were going to be late getting to a marina in Georgetown and opted for the anchorage a few miles short of Georgetown. This was a great anchorage nestled in near some cypress trees. I heard some very different night noises and could not tell if it was a bird, bigger cat or chimpanzee.
Probably was not the chimp as I didn't hear Tarzan. We slept good. I've mentioned this before, but it's hard to type up our story after a days run. You are pretty exhausted from looking at the scenery, charts, gauges, navigation things and the excitement of docking or anchoring and meeting new people doing the same thing.
This really is amazing.
