DAY 124 OF OUR GREAT ADVENTURE
Day 124 EARLY. I woke up this morning with the nicest 75º breeze blowing on me. It was 5am. Who cares. It doesn't matter whether I sleep at night, in the day or nap whenever I want to. So, I stayed in bed enjoying the breeze until about 6AM. I got up in time to see the lighthouse keeper pulling the curtain around the lens. They put a cover around it, not for dust, but to keep the sun rays from hitting the lens and being magnified setting something on fire. Anyhow, the lighthouse show was over for another night.
I still need to edit the video I shot the other night during the lighting of the light. That was very interesting. But it takes lots of quiet time and inspiration to edit video. So, it will have to wait a bit more.
Today there is a Abaco Heritage / Art festival in Hope Town. So, we will go over for that and see what we can see.
Yesterday (Friday) we shared a golf cart with Ron and Donna from Ottawa Canada and toured Elbow Cay all the way to the end of the island where Tahiti Bay is. It was another breath taking site in every direction. I shot a million more pictures that can in some small way show what we are experiencing. It really is just magical down here, and relaxing too. Whenever we pull into a marina we tell them we are only staying two nights. It always turns into more. So take a look at the PHOTO GALLERY for " Golf Cart Trip Elbow Key " link for pictures of our golf cart trip…
