Day 96 Sunday, January 24, 2016
Bayside Marina, Islamorada, FL

Susan and I have been in a repetitive pattern here on the boat and now we have developed a disorder. Yes, we both are suffering from

O-SEA-D.

We are obsessed with the sea and the boat that plies the sea. Weather, sounds the boat makes in the night, all marine technology, galley food, rain intrusion, cold weather clothes, defrosting the refrigerator and freezer, incessant cleaning, making coffee, making ice, making cocktails, checking the oil, checking the antifreeze, checking the transmission fluid, measuring the fuel, repairs, making our lines look neat, proper knots, sunsets and some sunrises, the beauty of the water.

And, it’s all like being inside a beautiful postcard.

The cure for O Sea D is to move back on land. That will be a prescription we will take in a few months. Until then, we will just suffer and cope with the disorder. Got to run and check the weather again. All kidding aside, it’s really fun!!

Today’s picture is our home yesterday morning.
