A shot from the North end of Elbow Cay

We hiked to the north end of Elbow Cay and the limestone shore mixes with sand. This shot is looking south at the Atlantic

Just a nice beach shot. The wind was still blowing 20-25 and we taked to some people that had tried to snorkel. Too rough and water stirred up

Old canons are commonplace here. I spoke with a guy that found a nice bronze canon and had it in his fish market

Most of the houses have some nice carved work along the roof lines

They have curly tail lizards here. The front yard of one house had built this elaborate lizard Lodge for one inhabitant. He is up on the roof in this picture

There are lots of different carving patterns in all the buildings and fences here in Hope Town

Yes this is a street scene in Hope Town. Actually a sidewalk of sorts between 2 streets.

Check the carving along the roof line on this house.

The Ice Cream store

We are not sure what a tellin is. We saw the word telling on several cottages. It might be the french language for "to let" as in "for rent". Many things are misspelled French here in Hope Town

The shutters and sky were a deep contrast. I just had to snap this shot.

A fixer upper for about $500,000 or so.
