Trevor and Lesley left today, off to Faro on the first stage of their trip to Turkey. A large number of people turned out to bid them farewell. Emails have been exchanged, and lots of other people are hoping to head for Turkey this year so they can do the Eastern Med Rally next year, taking in countries like Syria and Israel which might be tricky to visit as a solo boat.
