The water is so blue and deep here in the Chenal Ecarte that you want to jump in!
We motored until we reached the Walpole Island bridge, which only opens on the hour. It was about 1:45 so we didn't have long to wait. We circled a bit, and then when the bridge swung open, we quickly motored through with a wave to the bridge attendant in the tower.
A slow cruise up the river allows much time for relaxing. The kids made good use of the time.

We had a short, enjoyable trip just a short way up the St. Clair river to Chenal Ecarte.

Sailing on Lake Erie. We had 10-15knot winds. Beautiful day!
