So much has happened. We came to the D.C. area to put some credits in the cruising kitty and see some friends and hide from the hurricaines. Well in the big picture all went as planned. A few changes, Gloria and I went to look at a sailboat that our son Shane might be interested in, well we have deceided that it would be a good boat for us to grow older in. So we have put LivingWell up for sale and bought a 40' Island Trader Sailboat. We are working and getting the new boat ready to leave next October. Here are some before pics. and then many more when we are finished.
We are in Deale now but as soon as the ice thaws we will be sailing back up the Potomac to Gangplank to sell the Irwin. We have become members (associate member) at the Capital Yacht Club in D.C. we can not keep a boat there but am able to use the facilities and party with the many friends we have made in D.C. If you plan to cruise to D.C. this is the place to stop. Drop us a line and we will be glad to give you some great info on the Potomac, it is really worth the 100 miles up the river.
