Voyage of s/v Living Well
Charleston SC

01/12/2012, Anchored Wappoo Creek

We had a good trip south with a few delays for weather. Saw a lot of birds, dolphin, eagles. We took the Dismal Swamp route with no problems, the new visitor center is a nice stop. Oriental was our New Years stop and was very nice. We have been traveling with the catamaran Ubumtu with David, Lori and their 2 kids Dylan and Kashara. Not so much kids anymore they are 16 and 15 and are great fun to be around.

Gloria and I will be returning to the work force for the winter and getting the boat finished. This was a bit of a dissapointment as we wanted to get more south but the trip was a great shakedown and now have a plan to finish up the the boat. All in all we love the boat, we miss some things from the Irwin and love some things about this boat, (boats are always a compromise).
