We sold Livingwell! A exciting and very sad day combined. At least the couple Steve and Carrie and their son Eathan are great people who are really going to use and enjoy the boat. The push now is to get the new boat into the water, so we can get back living in our own place. We were lucky to have friends Chris and Lori who are letting us stay on their boat in the interm. Thanks again Chris and Lori. I will be documenting the refit or should I say major refit of the new Livingwell on this site. (Continued...)

Long over due update

So much has happened. We came to the D.C. area to put some credits in the cruising kitty and see some friends and hide from the hurricaines. Well in the big picture all went as planned. A few changes, Gloria and I went to look at a sailboat that our son Shane might be interested in, well we have deceided that it would be a good boat for us to grow older in. So we have put LivingWell up for sale and bought a 40' Island Trader Sailboat. We are working and getting the new boat ready to leave next October. Here are some before pics. and then many more when we are finished. (Continued...)

.Well, we finally made it to D.C. We spent a week with our daughters Leah and Emily in Charleston while Steve went back to Everglades City to get the truck. We caught up to our friend Bill Johnson on Puddlejumper at Morehead City. We got caught in a tropical storm and spent 2 days there. Now we are further behind to be in Norfolk to pick up the grandkids. Now we are behind and in the middle of Albermarle Sound we encounter a sever thunderstrom with 10 ft. seas and 60 mile an hour winds. NO FUN!! (Continued...)
