Panic. Went to collect the linkage for the auto helm. Could they find it?....Took about 30 minutes to locate it. Found. Panic over. Collected the extension for the autopilot and got it installed and all fitted and working. Job well done. Meanwhile Phil and I had decided we needed more fuel and set off in all directions to collect plastic jerry cans. We planned on just about 900 litres of fuel. Bound to be some wind on the way. For the jerry cans we had to run around and ask a few friends for some help on all this. Got some and loaded them with deisel and got them on deck.

11.00hrs no Immigration Officer.?? 12.00 noon no Immigration officer?

We sat down and took account of our situation. We still needed to get more fuel, sort out the food and have one last check that we were ready to roll.

At Phil's house we down loaded the latest satellite forecasts. All as predicted light winds and surface currents which should be pushing us up and along to Karachi.

15.30 called into Immigration. Sorry we have some difficulties etc etc. "How about 09.00hrs tomorrow morning?" "Done."

I spend the night on the boat topping up the water tanks, securing the canned food etc. In fact we were as fully prepared for departure next morning except for Phil needing to get a few more drums of fuel.
