Oh Hello Telluride!

Telluride is gorgeous... like a taste of Switzerland really.
The towns 2,500 population swells by 10,000 almost every weekend of the year for various festivals, but the locals are warm and friendly, unbegrudging of us sharing their beautiful spot.
The town is full of flowers and restaurants (The New Sheridan my favorite for good wine and live music), boutiky shops, and pubs televising the golf and basketball just for Nev 😊
Two full days of bluegrass and country music meant we heard from bands Nev and I had never heard of and it was a happy, loud, sunny, hot experience. My take home favorites were Sara Watkins, De Temps Antan, Sierra Hull and The Oh Hellos. Emmylou Harris was the last artist we saw and she was great! We've grown old together.
The beers were cold.
The people watching excellent.
The kids with their water guns great fun as the sprayed us down and kept us cool.
The food was yummy.
The skunky smells not overwhelming!
The free gondola rides to and from our hotel were filled with sunsets and such interesting people to talk to.
Dill's company was the highlight, of course!
And through it all we had Buzz on our minds, knowing he would love to be here too.
