Breath taken!!

Today we took a break from festivarian activities and decided to explore Telluride's mountain sides.
After brekkie we hiked the Bear Creek Trail, a 5 mile round trip with a breathtakingly beautiful waterfall halfway that welcomed our hot, breath taken bodies with an icy cold mist that felt sooooo good! Unfortunately big boobs do not equal big lungs (!) and I puffed my way up the 1200 ft elevation gain, sitting down once to settle my dizzy mind. The waterfall is at 9,856ft! Nev and Dill enjoyed a beer there and it tasted good. The walk down was a piece of cake!!
A brief stop at the hotel and then on to rent mountain bikes.
The name "Jurassic Trail" should've warned us what we were getting ourselves into! Suffice to say: me and my $48 full suspension mountain bike walked most of the narrow, mountains hugging trail together. Nev was amazing and kept up with Dill a good part of the way, coming close to a fall only once.
He was mighty proud of himself when I caught up with them later, and so was I!
It was a fabulously exhausting experience that left us breathless once again.
We concluded we'll definitely hike again, but mountain biking???
You have our huge admiration Dill. Please be careful. It's crazy scary out there!!
And thanks for being so patient with us!!
We slept like the dead.
