Pure joy!

Maggie
She is loved so much already!
I read this poem a father had written for his daughter's arrival (Love Warrior by Glennon D Melton) and I wanted to copy it here because it is my sentiment exactly!
"It really wasn't
a cry
That first noise
It was a fanfare
Announcing a marvel
That will never
be
repeated
There are no satin sheets
There are no handmaidens
No emissaries with jewels
No trumpets or announcements
Where are they?!
Don't they know what
happened here?!
A princess has arrived."
I got the call on Saturday afternoon to say Candace's waters had broken. Said goodbye to my honey, hopped into my car (my suitcase had been packed for a while!) and drove up to Vacaville like the wind along the 5 without Nev glancing over my shoulder commenting on my speed!
Lily Abigail arrived the next morning (on her due date) weighing in at 6lbs 8ozs with a head of dark hair and a frown, and she stole our hearts in the split second after her safe delivery!
Pure joy!
So happy for you Ste and Candace
and so happy for us too!
can't wait to grow old with her...
