Maggie
Karen took me all over the island which is 60km long by 40km wide, and has a population of 1.2million people.
The currency is the Mauritian Rupee, the national beer is Phoenix,
and language English and French.
We visited towns called Flick and Flack, Caroline, Gris Gris, and many more I can't remember or spell!!
We walked miles together...
Shopped the stores and the local markets...
Visited landmarks and sipped local rum...
It's a beautiful island with something for everyone...
Just needed lots more time...
I can see why they love living here!

Set to depart Channel Islands November 8th, 2009 We plan to head down Baja taking our time fishing and exploring ,we hope to spend a few months in the Sea of Cortez before heading down to Panama . From there to the Galapagos Islands and our Pacific Ocean crossing in February of 2011 to the Marquesas and from there who knows with our final destination Cape Town South Africa
