It's been a tough job getting her ready but we did it! Blue is packed to the hilt an listing just a little to port! Pat and Sandy threw a great farewell party for family and friends last night and we left Oxnard as planned around 8 this morning and what a beautiful day to leave with flat seas, and tons of dolphins and working birds all the way to Marina del Rey. Bonnie and Craig took a few great pictures of us leaving. In the morning we're off to Long Beach. But for now we are loving our cozy new home on the water right in the middle of the seagulls and seals! Lots of new noises to get used to!

The best to both of you on your journey. You are two very special people. I am very lucky to have spent 10 days with you. Wish it could be 1000. In the short time that I have known you I have learned more from you than you can imagine. Best of luck. Stay safe and can't wait to see you again in a few years. Can't wait to hear some stories from Nev.
Love Always
All my best,

Great pictures, and we look forward to seeing lots more and hearing of your adventures.
We arrived in West Palm Beach on Friday afternoon and boy were we glad to get into port for a few days. we left, Beaufort, NC early Monday morning Nov.2 and we had rough seas in the Atlantic for 4 1/2 days. One great thing about our Nordhavn's they are built to take the seas in whatever conditions and it's never frightening, just not quite as comfortable. We LOVE our new home and our life on the water. It has been five months now and only gets better. We are here in WPB for a week and provisioning for our next year in the carribbean and further.
It did get a little chilly up on the east coast, so we can hardly wait till we get to warm BLUE waters.
We love your pictures!!
May the winds and waters always be in your favor.
Love and hugs,
Carol

Never imagined this day would arrive! We have talked and planned and prayed and laughed and cried - and now it's here .. and happening! Courtesy of my wonderful employers, Brian and Mary Komoto, my amazing team of girls, and my boss and friend of many years, Bill, "Wine Me Up" graciously hosted a farewell for Nev and I in Bakersfield last night and we had a fabulous night! My mum, sister, Nev and I did all the catering: baootie, samoosas, boerewors, melktert, sausage rolls, scones with strawbery jam and cream, crunchies, and my first attempt at biltong! We also served a cheese, crackers, fruit and vegie smorgasboard, chips and dips. Along with that came the GREAT company of everyone who was there! Lots of laughs (and some tears!) - thanks to all of you for being there - you made the night and the close of this chapter PERFECT! And a plug for Wine Me Up - Don and his team were fantastic! they even cleaned up everyting for us while we had one last glass of wine - what a spoil! Thanks so much again to everyone xx love you all xx
