An achey-breaky day!!

Monday, Day 4, disappeared in a blur of Restorative Yoga with Stephanie, a tiny sweet young lady who taught us how to use our props, and Postures 101 with Courtney, co-founder of Yahweh Yoga and a ball of inspiring energy and strength and knowledge, especially as in knowing when to call it a day coz our bodies were aching and our eyes blurring.
BUT Tuesday was the real achey-breaky day... little did we know! This is some of what I wrote in my journal before I went to sleep:
"It's 10pm and I come before You, Lord, elated and exhausted... it's amazing to see how much You packed into our day today and yet I climb into bed now praising and thank You for mudras (hand postures)and crow pose (I did it and held it for more than 2 seconds, and that more than once!!!) and wonderful conversations over sushi lunch and a glass of wine after class, and an afternoon with DeAnna beginning our first real, live teaching sessions, selecting and reading Bible verses for our potential future classes, cueing postures and..."
What a day as each one of us was challenged, mind, body and soul, more than we had ever been...
Us old gals managed to hold our own with the young ones in the row behind us!!
The picture is of Christy (from Colorado) and me, two of the oldies.
I'm in Childs Pose with her in a supported back bend over me...
funky and fun...
it felt so good then...
we are ever so thankful for Advil and the jacuzzi at our hotel!
