Watch what you ask for

05 December 2010
80's, sunny skies
I've heard it said to watch out what you ask for. Case in point.... Joel has always wanted to build his own nesting dingy for our boat. He didn't have time before we left the States so we settled on an inflatable dingy. So... as we left Bahia Santa Maria in our little dingy on the way back to the mother ship, Lady Ann, the bottom ripped out of it and water started pouring into the boat. I had a bucket and started to bail her out but as quickly as I poured the water out it was gushing in. Alas......... we made it back to Lady Ann and gave our charming dingy to the locals to fix. So............ Now we're building a new dingy. Joel is getting what he asked for in a round about way. Conveniently, there is a shipyard next door to our marina. Anybody have any good names for her?
