Well due to a spectacular last full day run of 163 miles we arrived off Bridgetown at 3pm local time. A couple of squalls to welcome us at our nearest point to the reef but with a combination of autopilot and emergency tiller we berthed up OK. Welcome from the Rally guy ,Pascal, and other boats Zoe, Jojo and Enjoy. Welcome pack of Mount Gay rum etc. Berthed on a pontoon the other side of which is a boat from the rally we originally signed up for , whose engine got flooded with seawater and is now delliberating what to do, ie total new unit in Trinidad or try and get it fixed here. So our problems pale next to that. So on with the jobs list and try to sort out the steering. We will move into town once we can. We look forward to G's sons arrival on 17th but for now its clearing up, cleaning and working through the jobs list.
