Cold morning....got off an hour later than the plan....but got out anyway. I bragged about the great 77 mile day....paid for it today. 35 miles in 7 hours. Head winds and contrary tides kicked my butt. Stopped in McClellenville. Southern charm at its best. Live Oaks dripping with moss, houses a century old. Most folks drive in golf carts. One restaurant in town. Great food at reasonable prices. Everyone dripping in friendly. Fuel, pump, water, good food, internet....what more could you ask for. More weather predicted. Hoping to hit the tides tomorrow and make it to Myrtle Beach.
