Marsh Harbour
03/23/2007

We have been in a holding pattern for the last 8 days at anchor in marsh harbour. we have taken advantage of this time to catch up with friends and fellow boaters. The wind has been blowing 20-30knots with the occasional squall increasing the winds to 35knots. It seems that everytime we walk Maddie a squall gets us before we return to the boat.

We are looking for a window to get stateside. We are keeping our fingers crossed for next Thursday. the seas are avg around 6-9ft at the moment but should subside to 4-6 ft next week. We are aiming to make landfall at Cape Canaveral but if the weather holds we will ride the stream to St Augustine.

Marsh Harbour
03/18/2007

We spent the day eating a large Sunday dinner with Johesa. The meal consisted of a pot roast, our first since the start of this trip, mashed potatoes, green beans, squash, and gravy. After our feast we played Mexican train dominoes. What a great day.

It appears that the weather will be very bad for the next week. They are predicting 30-knot winds until Sunday making it hard to move. We will spend our time in Marsh Harbour preparing the boat to cross the gulf stream. For now we will just sit and wait.
