So I guess I can only attach one picture per post, not really sure but this is what I'll try to get a couple more pics up...

So I've finally received enough complaints from friends and family that I'm actually posting something! We set sail from our dock, Pier 32, on June 30th. Since then we have been sailing between anchorages in South Bay and Mission Bay, usually anchoring for three nights and then moving on to the next location. Gives us lots of opportunity to sail, anchor, and otherwise become familiar with the boat and it's many systems. More specifically, gives me a chance to learn about these systems, Alex seems to have things under control but I often feel baffled, he gets frustrated, and I get amused, which only perpetuates the cycle. I'll get it, don't worry. It's been a lot of fun having friends and family over to the boat, I even had some co-workers stop by and it was great to see them out of the workplace. We had a couple of land excursions this month, the boat was hauled out for a bottom job, and we took a road trip to Monterey before we turned the car over to Alex's sister. Internet access isn't as readily available as I had hoped so the posts may be few and far between, but I'll try to keep everyone updated. Feel free to give us a call anytime if anyone wants to stop by, we're always happy to entertain visitors, especially those bearing alcoholic beverages! The pictures are of the boat in the haulout yard and being launched, the first day leaving the dock, and Luke the Cat debating if he's hungry enough for duck to warrant a swim. More to come...
