Many places we have visited have a 'light' that is common for that area, often portrayed in paintings, photographs and movies. Sitting here in Southern Florida watching the sun go down behind the buildings that flank the bay we are anchored in, and there it was...that unique and distinctive 'Florida Light'. No photoshop work on this photo!

Negotiating Bridges
Paula
03/12/08, Intracoastal Waterways (ICW)

Each time we encounter a bridge it's hard not to look up and slow the boat down, sure that the mast is going to hit. Our total mast height is 63 1/2 feet from the waterline and most of the bridges are 64 feet high...it's close, but we haven't touched yet, fingers crossed!
