We are still out here! Sailing along at good speed, slightly off course due to the direction of the wind. We have 56 nm to go and should be in at the dock tomorrow morning. The temperature is very cool now, with the water temperature only 15.8 degrees. I think those scallops are going to be store bought! We are enjoying seeing the bird life that characterises New Zealand's waters especially the inquisitive Albatross that gracefully glides over the water and circles the yacht looking directly at us as if questioning our presence here. (Continued...)

Just when we thought we would arrive Thursday night the wind has swung back to the south, south west so we will have to tack the rest of the trip. This will push our ETA out to Friday morning. 95 miles to go. This will be the last 100 miles of a 40,000 plus mile 8 year so what the heck... (View Post...)
