Encountered the wonderful sight of dozens of racing yachts flying spinnakers on a magnificent day in Shelter Cove Hong Kong. They were going a bit faster than us.

June 3 weekend and perfect Hong Kong weather laid on for my birthday. Some nice moments of sailing out through Shelter Cove to Bluff Island. Beautiful. Overnight next to the beach on Bluff, swimming, kayak and a much overdue proper clean of the props, sail drives and rudders.

A great catch up week with our friends Ross & Jill from Darwin. Prawns on the barbie, plenty of cold ones and a few tall stories. Good time had by all.

A great spot

Overnight with the Peerses at Bluff Island Beach. Dave was his usual witty self & had us in stitches. He even cooked breakfast. Jackie set up this blog, because we're too useless, and has even contributed the first photos.
Some good sailing on thr Sunday but homeward passage on Monday was disappointing, no wind and sloppy seas. Didn't stop Dave having half a dozen naps. Beautiful night on anchor at Bluff Island... Paradise and all to ourselves.
