On the Hard.

Today Mandalay was hauled out, ( 0900 ) all went very smooth, had help from April & her boyfriend . To my surprise her paint was not bad, in fact she could have gone another eight months. The crew at the boat yard & other cruisers looked at the damage to Mandalay's Bow, they all agreed I hit a whale. I am not sure.
Not much work was done today, many boats where hauled out. I am going the change the color of her bottom, it will be blue over red.
Once I settle in to living on the hard, I will post some pictures.

The pictures are just some thing that can go Wrong while underway. Spreaders to blown transmission, to inoperative radar when you need it. All repairs where completed while underway. Note the drive Damper, no springs, all where destroyed when the Transmission was put in reverse at very high RPM's
