It's snowing
I am sitting next to window adding this post and watching the snow fall, we have 4 inch's rt now.
I arrived in Canada two day's ago, Mandalay is docked in La Paz, a very secure Marina, video cameras + watch man walking the docks each hour. The slip rent $1365.00 per month.
Today I will head to a lumber yard looking for the wood to fix Mandalay, my plan is to buy it the length I will need to make the repair. To get it into Mexico, I will bubble rap it and place the wood into a surf board bag and check it as a surf board. The bow sprit will need major work, I think sitting at Tiki some of the wood got dry rot from all the rain, I am going to redesign the grating, SS with wood veered over it. I have left over from the spreader work.
Mandalay is schedule to haul out the 6th of Jan, she will be on the hard at least 10 days. Once all work is completed she will remain in a slip at the boat yard, $650.00 per month this includes elect & water, it's great to have friends in Mexico.
Do some rigging work, and head into the sea of Cortez, for a few months.
Have a wonder full holiday.
