I have now less than 200 miles to go. Wind is scarce and seas are flat and as far as the eye can see, its surface undulates slowly, up and down, like a massive rug.

This morning I was thousands of miles away, my mind wandering to far off places, when I heard a drone, an engine. Looking up, just in time to see a big sport fishing boat zip across my stern...not even enough time to put on my shorts - I was reminded, wistfully, I have left the vast open spaces far behind.

tonight...traffic traffic - cruise ships cruise ships.

ETA May 22nd in the morning, Riviera beach marina, Riviera Beach, Florida. I am aiming for between 10-11 am

Vessel Name: Shearwater
Vessel Make/Model: CONSER 47 Racer/Cruiser Catamaran
Hailing Port: West Palm Beach Florida
Crew: MANGO AND ME
About:
Mango is a smart, funny, sensitive and totally unique wheaton/sheepdog. . He is my partner on this patently undoglike voyage but remains cheerful about the whole affair. [...]
Extra: Shearwater is a 47 foot, very sleek and light catamaran. She is part of a fleet of 11 that were built - its a sister ship of Shearwater that holds the unofficial speed record. 31 knots! Of the this fleet, only one has flipped...so we are on the side of good odds!
