Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Crabby

25 August 2010
We've been invaded by huge land crabs. 4 were on the patio when I got home the other night.

Things that make me crabby:
1. The fact that the director at the school has determined that child gates are dangerous to children and removed them all and pitched them gleefully into the dumpster leaving the bathrooms open for 10 little one year olds to splash in the potty.

2. I lodged a formal complaint after one baby tipped over in the toilet and couldn't get back out. Pulling her sopping wet head out of the toilet bowl was not a highlight of my day.

3. The director then informed us that the one year olds are now considered old enough to be potty trained. What planet is she from? We have several 13 month olds who can't even walk yet!

4. Even if we did try to potty train one of the 22-24 month olds, do we have to do it with a crowd of 9 others wedged around flushing the toilet repeatedly?

Things that improve my mood immensely:
1. The Safety Officer responds within 24 hours.
