Us next to IsabellaAfter a good start to the 'race' it was light winds so.... on with the engine and auto pilot and a relaxing day. The big boats had their spinnakers up and were trying to sail but eventually everybody was motor sailing as winds were so light.

In the afternoon the wind picked up a little from the North or North East and we managed to sail the last 10nm.

Peniche is a small fishing harbour and we were directed to raft up to Isabella, a brand new 50ft Hanse which were celebrating their first 1000nm later that evening. So it was drinks all round on Isabella and supper on Chanto later.

Next day ARC Portugal arranged a lovely three course lunch at a local restaurant with another prize giving. Tazkeena won another leg. They were the best sailors and deserved to win.
