Milo's flying into Sydney
7 November 2010, Eastern Creek Quarantine Facility, Sydney

Well, all Milo's tests came back negative and he's free to head home for his next trial...quarantine. Poor little bloke. He flies out of Vanuatu on the 7am flight and should be safely resting in Sydney's Eastern Creek Quarantine facility by Monday afternoon. There's only three quarantine facilities in Australia - Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. The quarantine folk tend to his basic requirements but if you want him walked you have to come and do it yourself or pay someone to do it. So I'm on the hunt for any Sydney landlubbers who can't resist this face and this underbite and would like to take him for a stroll sometime in the next 30 days!!! We'll head for Sydney by car and be there to collect him around 8 December.

Back to Bundy
2 November 2010, Bundaberg Yacht Club

Today Ray heads back to Bundy to make sure Meander is ok, pay the import duties on the boat and bring her down to Mooloolaba. It looks like a nasty weather system is coming through in that area and Ray wants to be around to make sure she's safe. My brother-in-law, Bruce, is heading up at some stage to crew for the trip down to Mooloolaba.

Halloween Party
1 November 2010, Bald Knob

The Halloween Party was a great time and people that Ray hadn't seen in nearly four years turned up, so that was fantastic. He also got to meet a few new friends, neighbours and other cruisers that he's heard me talk about but hadn't actually met. We ended up sitting around a bonfire til 2am drinking Bloody Mary's when we ran out of red wine...what a worry.

3 November 2010 | Bill and Linda Anderson
Sorry we missed the bonfire! Thanks for a great night! cheers Linda and Bill
