Finally our little hairy mutt is home with us on land and you've never seen a more excited dog when we picked him up from Jet Pets at the Brisbane Airport. I don't think he could believe his luck to be on land and back with us. We're landlubbers for a while now, settling in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in one of the original cottages up here on Bald Knob. There's a bit of wildlife up here though and the locals have warned us about the ticks and snakes, so we'll be keeping a close eye on Milo now that he's home. He'll get to meet the pet Budgie too...uh oh, not sure how that will go.

Here he is getting patted on his new bed. He's also been out and about in a grassy run area for a bit of exercise. I think it might be quite hot there because the more recent pictures show him looking a bit frazzled. Or, maybe they'd washed him...not sure. Only nine days to go and he'll be home. We were thinking of driving to Sydney to collect him but it works out cheaper to have him flown to Brisbane on the same day he's allowed out. Can't wait to have him home. Of course there's a bit of dog-proofing to be done around the house because he's a 'Houdini' and manages to escape through the smallest spaces.

Hopefully no news is good news!
Wendy!
She's looking a bit tired at the moment and needs a good clean and polish before we officially put Meander on the market but she's up for sale if anyone is interested.
