With some local knowledge from Carl at West Marine I'm set for some trout fishing. I bought a new rod - the ugly stick - and learnt how to set up a Carolina rig and a Texas rig. I've never fished for trout and I have it on good advice that they are light biters with a soft mouth, so it will all be in the technique.
