Philip and Corrine from Fabuloso joined us for a birthday dinner for Ray at one of the popular Indian restaurants. It's been a while since weve had good Indian food. Had a great night and Sam organised a surprise dessert with the waiters.

Today was very exciting. Washing the clothes (too expensive in the Marina so it's a hand washing exercise), tracking down our School of Distance Ed packages that seem to be hiding somewhere in DHL Lisboa, sleeping and eating. I know you're all jealous. WeŽve finally accepted that we can't get Internet access on the boat so I've bought ten hours of time here at the local cyber cafe. It's so fast! Once we have recieved our mail, weŽll start heading south slowly toward Gibralter.

We sadly waved Rob and Ev off on Saturday as they headed for the final leg of their holiday in London. Boy can they party!!! Late nights, much drinking and partying...we're just not used to it anymore. We had a ball though and it was great to see them both. Robert and Ray fought the whole time of course, but then that's nothing new. Ev and I just rolled our eyes and poured another red. We went touring Lisbon, took a cruise on Meander up the Tegus River, took in a Portugese bullfight and tried a lot of local cuisine. It just doesn't get any better than that. They say they'll be back next year so that gives us a bit of time to practice.
