Cheap fuel harbour
10 July 2009, Antikyrra, mainland Greece

Happy to be back in this lovely harbour

Will we fit?
9 July 2009, Xilokastro, Peloppones

After our failed attempt at getting back to the islands yesterday we were fresh with renewed optimism only to find the same scenario again. We tried turing and beating across the gulf to the other side but three hours of that was just not on. Ray made an executive decision to try the nearest harbour even though the Pilot Guide said it was extremely small. Well, they were right but the very kind woman told us we could tie up on half a dock and stay for nothing if our stay was only one night. Again, nice beach nearby so we were all happy.

Too darn rough
8 July 2009, Kiato harbour, Peloppones

We headed off with all good intentions from Korinthos in the hope to make some leaps and bounds out of the Gulf but of course, as usual, the moment we stuck our snout out of the harbour the wind swung 'on the nose'. That of course meant a building swell and really uncomfortable conditions so we chucked it in and decided to hide away in Kiato harbour. Very nice...and it had a beach so we could swim.
