A Momentous Day!

Nancy
Today is a special day. Today we sent in our entry packet for the Baja Ha-Ha. For those unfamiliar, the Baja Ha-Ha (besides being fun to say) is a rally for cruisers that happens every year in late October. 150+ boats depart from San Diego and after making two stops arrive in Cabo San Lucas about 10 days later. For more info see: Baja Ha-Ha

John and I have been reading about this rally and how much fun it is for several years now. Finally joining up with this year's fleet is truly a dream come true. It's a terrific way to transition to the cruising life- there are organized activities at each of the stops and there's usually plenty of other "kid boats" so the girls will have as much fun (more!) as we will.

Aside from buying the boat and outfitting it (no mean feat!) this represents our commitment to transition our fantasy into reality. Whoo-hoo!!
