Plan B

Hola Amigos,
When you start a project you always want to start with Plan A. What exactly is Plan A? Ideally it would be the best, #1, Grade AAAAA, 5 stars plan. It would incorporate the best planning, the best end result and would not be the most expensive. For all of these reasons, Plan B was created. It generally is a lot more spontaneous, its end result is always a compromise and not always ideal, and it always is the cheapest.
Lewis wants to store his emergency Fortress anchor. This is for a storm that you never want to experience. Ideally it would be out of the way but easily accessible. Again two opposing goals on a sailboat. Plan A would incorporate installing a bracket in the anchor locker. Ideal location, ideal end result but a lot of work for something you never want to use. This was the birth of Plan B. Another requirement of Plan B is that it should include duct tape. As you can see his Plan B filled all of the prerequisites: it was spontaneous, it obviously was a compromise ( and not a very good one), it was definitely cheap, and it used duct tape. Not the ideal end result but at least it was the ideal Plan B.
Mary Lee astutely asked Lewis, " What's plan C ?"
Lewis asked, " Why?"
By the way, the cell phone works. We knew you were losing sleep over that.
Happy Plan A to you ( we wouldn't wish Plan B on anyone) until we blog again.
