You can't always get what you want

Hola Amigos, We did not have Sushi last night but we did have BBQ'ed Mexican Bonita, much better than your normal Bonita. Lewis may have made a small error, using papaya in his fish marinade. It have have made it a little mushy but still was great. We had a bumpy night so not an ideal sleep. We still can not believe what a smooth trip we are having. We really needed this long weather window. What has been a shock is the cold weather. The water temp is 63 and we are used to the high 70's.Last night it got down to 56. It is 65 now instead of 95.The Sea of Cortez is only 140 miles east of us. It shows how powerful the Alaska current is. It sure makes our ice chest more efficient. We have wanted to sail and yesterday we got to unfurl the jib and turn off the engine for 3 hours and actually go towards our desired direction. We even caught the fish under sail! We needed fuel so got 70 gallons in Turtle Bay during our 1 hour stop there between 8 and 9 AM. We even got rid of 2 bags of garbage. We finally saw one other sailboat going north. After leaving Turtle Bay we had NY Steak and eggs with sweet strawberries( good buy ML) avocado and papaya. We have been entertained by dolphins, rays and whales. We have been averaging 6.5 knots since AM. Thanks again for our Family's SMS messages. Let us know if you got this message.
