Cove of the Dead

Hola Amigos, We are on the hook in Los Muertos. You can get a beachfront LOT here for only $4,250,000. Maybe the name is not the only thing that is scaring away potential lot buyers.
Yesterday we snorkeled in clear blue water for the first time. We swan under a canopy of Angel Fish. The water in the Mainland surprising is not clear. The sea is known for its beautiful water. Still cannot see the anchor but maybe the next anchorage.
We had a wonderful dinner at the Giggling Marlin. Fresh fish and scallops. Yum. They are having a band there tonight so we are spending another day here.
We had a stressful night with 25 knot winds. We did anchor watch. We were not worried about hitting any boats but were a little concerned about dragging. Really no worry with a 60-pound anchor, 150 pounds of chain and good protection from any potential seas.
We took a walk around the golf course that will open in November. Looks like there won't be a problem getting a Tee Time. It was interesting seeing 2 excavation sites on our walk.
Lewis is having trouble finding UCLA Basketball on Mexican Satellite TV. He is following the play-by- play games on the computer. He will try to turn in his Bracket before next Thursday. We may have to come into port so he can post the Winning Bracket.
Going for a swim and then to dinner. Life is good on our boat.
Happy Friday the 13th to you until we Blog again
The Merry Lee
