Renaming our boat
01 January 2014 | The Harborage Marina
Hello everyone.
We have been negligent in our blog posting. Staying at the marina is much like staying in an RV park with poor wifi because we are the furthest from the office. We are slowly getting the boat organized and some needed retrofitting done. We are adding a new dodger and bimini, new companionway doors, upgrading electronics and getting more battery power. The list keeps getting longer and our West Marine bill getting higher. We have officially renamed our boat with copious amounts of champagne flowing to please the sea gods, wind gods and of course our selves. We have hired someone to teach us how to motor in and out of the docks and the Marina. It is a little different than docking our little 23' boat at Lake Dillon. After one attempt by ourselves we decided it would better for all boats concerned to hire an instructor. Boat owners tend to frown on the bumper car approach to docking witch we were becoming very good at. Check out the new name on the boat and port of origin.
