Greg and Mary
There's frost on the pumpkin. Well maybe not, but there was frost on the dock when I got up this morning. This is Florida for crying out loud. I didn't bring my thermal underwear to Florida. We had the same high here as it was in Denver. Today we might get about 4 degree's higher. Oh Well
We have set a take off date of Feb 4th to begin our trip to the Bahama's. We have met another couple that is going to join us on our voyage with their boat. It is more fun to share or misery loves company, we are not sure which. We have been busy trying to plan for having food and basics for 3 months. There will be places to buy things but at a much higher cost and poor selection. Beer is 4$ a can. The big question is how to store and where to put it. We are still waiting for better wifi, more battery power and a new plot charter. We hope it all arrives this week so we can get used to it.
Basically we have just been planning and doing little fix ups like repairing holes in the fiberglass. That is what the picture is about. Our new doors and fiberglass repair.
We have an exciting event this week with the Lynx Privateer sailboat coming to the harbor. Check out their website: www.privateerlynx.com. Greg will be sailing on it on Friday. They are also having a dinner on Thursday night which we will both attend. It should be Fun.

Extra:
Greg and Mary had owned Nada Mas, a 23' South Coast, on Lake Dillon in Colorado for 33 years. We chartered in the Caribbean and Calif. numerous times. We were excited to begin our dream. While waiting for a weather window in the Truks and Caicos, Mary died unexpectedly Jan. 6 2015 after a [...]
