Mile High Dream

"Sittin by the dock in the bay, watching time sail away" is the sing going thru my head right now. My new crew mate, Cherry from Canada arrived on Tuesday but not her luggage, so we are patiently waiting and hoping it arrives today.
Mile High Dream's freezer decided to take a walk about before I left Puerto Rico so I had a new one installed two days ago. Very quiet but it is not doing what it is intended for, freezing. I now have two refrigerators. They assure me that they will get it corrected.
St. Marteen is beautiful and I am ready to leave the dock again and go explore some more of this beautiful island paradise.
The area did make an upward mobility move on Friday with the arrival of Steve Job's wife's yacht Venus. A mere 131 million dollar piece of floating artwork which does not resemble any boat I have ever seen. We are still waiting for our invitation to join them for drinks. I am sure it is just an oversight.

About:	Greg has been sailing since he was 21. I grew up in North Dakota and started taking advantage of the constant winds. After selling my bicycle store in 2006 we got more serious about living our dream on a sailboat. Greg and his wife purchased Mile High Dream in 2013.
Extra:	Greg and Mary had owned Nada Mas, a 23' South Coast, on Lake Dillon in Colorado for 33 years. We chartered in the Caribbean and Calif. numerous times. We were excited to begin our dream. While waiting for a weather window in the Truks and Caicos, Mary died unexpectedly Jan. 6 2015 after a [...] wonderful snorkel. This wonderful chapter in our lives is now over and a new one began in March of 2015. I am now into my 7th season of cruising spending my winter months in the Caribbean and my summers in Colorado.
