We are 2 hours from Puerto Los Cabos where we will fuel and stay the night. Plan is to depart for Turtle Bay at 0400 Friday (tomorrow) since all the weather source look good and since there are 2 tropical disturbances to the south (AKA developing hurricanes). We should make TB late Sunday or early Monday based on the weather - fingers crossed!! The noteworthy points about the photo above are: our max speed on this leg was 9.39, the water temp is 87.6 and the wind is from the north (all models predicted we'd get an ass-kicking SSE today with 10 to 20 knot winds and 6' waves on the nose - our wind is on the stern at 10 to 12 with a following sea (hence my fingers crossed for the "perfect" forecast to go north....)!
