Our passage from Los Cabos to the mainland was pretty quick. 36 hrs 27 mins to travel 272 mile. Leaving at 0330 put us in Ensenada Matanchen in the daylight which is always less stressful. We saw only 3 boats along the way - 1 HUGE freighter and 2 pangas (1 which was 70 miles off shore with no noticeable fishing gear; probably don't need to know what that was about...). This morning we moved 20 miles south to Chacala which is a very cool beach town. Water is 85, the air is 86, the beers coming from the Engal (still on the Bullets) are 39 - all good in Chacala! Two days here then onto Punta de Mita to meet up with friends John and Gilly for dinner aboard their boat Destiny! 3 weeks from Dana Point to Puerta Vallarta (1400 miles or so) - nice pace.
