More fishing boats

In November along the Baja we had an "encounter" with a good sized Mexican fishing boat during the night. Since then we've heard a couple of stories where other boats had a similar experience as ours (being squeezed and then "charged" by a Sanger net boat) - who knows the real story. Everything feels more intense on a pitch black moonless night on the ocean. On our trip from Chamela we had a net boat pace us for a couple of hours, zigzagging its course while dragging nets, then pass by us and turn onto our rhumb line. The photo shows its course in relation to ours (each "ring" is 1/2 mile and the red on the right is the shoreline - it's 168' deep). If I hadn't already been wide awake like some meth-head from the medications KT had administered for my ear trouble, rest assured being this close to a 80 or 90' Mexican fishing boat at night would surely of gotten the sleep out of me eyes (BTW, this guy was lit up like a float in the Hollywood Christmas Parade - lots and lots of lights of every conceivable color - very helpful in navigation....NOT).
