After scoping out the golf course in San Carlos we decided to hop the bus at 0800 from Guaymas to the course 20 miles away. Turns out this is the same time hundreds of people go to work - thus the bus was PACKED! Pretty funny actually - people in the back of the bus yelling out info to the driver (stop here, open the door etc) because he can't see. And, of course, people in the middle of the bus need off first which requires up close and personal movement throughout the bus. Nobody is angry or bothered in the least - mostly it's people smiling and laughing, no less than 5 people offered KT their seat (respect for the elderly...). We also had two separate people give us a ride in their car - one found us searching for the golf course and the other discovered us at a boat store 5 miles from the bus route, this guy cranked up his booming radio as we cruised through San Carlos in style with KT and the guy singing at the top of their lungs (we are sober - not sure about him)! The golf course is "rustic" but was fun especially at $30 for all day including cart (we are going back). The photo shows what the rough looks like at the San Carlos Country Club....
