It's been hot and humid around Loreto for the past few days as we await the arrival of Ms. Blanca (hurricane). We got blown out of Nopolo again and did another midnight passage into Puerto Escondido. This time we had a full moon and the seas where pretty tame. Our friend Pete has been feeding us constant info on Blanca and has been doing his best to help us keep in perspective the conditions. We appreciate it greatly. We sort of feel like young kids on Christmas Eve staring out the window or at the fireplace looking for Santa - lots of "anticipation" to say the least! So it appears that we will experience some measure of tropical storm conditions (better than hurricane conditions!). Seem we can expect heavy rain late Sunday through Monday afternoon with lightening and thunder. Wind should be in the 30 to 40 range - possibly higher gust from all directions. Gonna be hot and humid in our boat for awhile!!
