and away she goes....

This day has been coming, like it did on our 2 previous Mexico sailing adventures, but knowing that sure doesn't make it any easier! Hoy es la dia mi esposa, (Victoria, the Admiral o KT), va a casa! It's a sad day. 7 1/2 months ago we took an Uber car from our house in San Clemente to the boat with the last load of "essentials...." The next morning we took off for Mexico. Almost 4000 miles later, with 4 trips across the Sea of Cortez, 2 hurricanes (neither of which were much thankfully), several lightening storms, rough waters, a couple of a-hole fishing boats and a few boat "challenges," all of which is way way overshadowed by beautiful places, great people, new friends and another set of life-changing memories, our 3rd Mexico adventure is over! We chatted about what we will miss and what we are excited about. There is a lot we will miss about Mexico and cruising around on MissTeak - generally it's the simple lifestyle that we enjoy most and how people in Mexico just don't get worked up over things that, in the true scheme of things, really don't matter. And we both look forward to being closer to our family, friends and, of course, our little white fluffy "not really a dog" Walter! So as KT heads home and "our" adventure ends, in a week my two good friends, Dan Drake (Junior) and Jack McFadden (Lobster Jack), fly into town to help bring MissTeak home and another adventure begins (believe me on this one....)!
Oh, and in my honor, Victoria left every cabinet door open and the toilet seats up..... Isn't she special (miss her already and it's only been a couple of hours).
