Wednesday 3rd October 2007
Happy to catch up with Mike and Michelle on Friendship III in Bundaberg. Photo attached of "the gang" at sundowners.
We left Bundaberg at 6am this morning heading to Kingfisher Resort. We have decided to take advantage of the northerlies and move quickly south. Windsong and Dame Margot are heading to Urangan today so hopefully we will catch up somewhere along the coast.
Our plans (weather permitting) are to leave Kingfisher tomorrow midday and pass through the Great Sandy Staits arriving at Gary's Anchorage tomorrow afternoon. We will then cross the Wide Bay Bar around 3pm Friday before a night sail south to Mooloolaba.
Love to the NSSM girls ..... I'm getting there!!

Sunday 30th September 2007
Since leaving Hamilton Island on 25th September we have been moving south quite quickly due to light NE winds. Travelling with Windsong and Dame Margot.
First stop was Mackay, Middle Percy (White Bay, beautiful), Delcomyn Bay (numerous whales that day, one appeared less than 30 metres off the back of the boat - I could see his/her barnacles), Great Keppel (Long Beach - a lovely walk) and then arrived at Pancake Creek around 5pm yesterday. Drinks on board Misty Blue.
Departed Pancake Creek this morning at 6 am and will be in Bundaberg this afternoon for a few nights to reprovision. Heading south while the weather is in our favour. Plan to leave Bundaberg on Wednesday and head for Kingfisher Resort (Fraser Island).
Photos attached:
Misty Blue with her MPS flying (thank you Maurice for jumping in the dingy and travelling along side us).
Ian's catch of the day - Spotted Mackerel.
Our lunch yesterday - Pizza - thanks again M & V for your skills in the kitchen.
